Fifty year reunion planned for CBS class of 1967

The CBS Roscommon Leaving Cert class of 1967 is organising a 50-year reunion.
The event will be held on May 16th commencing at the at CBS at 4.30 p.m. with an introduction, an address by school principal, a tour of the school, and light refreshments.
The event will also include a commemoration for the ten deceased classmates.
Following the formalities at the school a social evening will be held in JC Doorley's Corner House.
“This will be the first time many of us will have met in 50 years,” explained committee member Tommy Ryan.
The committee of four has been organising the reunion since 2025 with “every effort” made to contact all 62 former classmates.
A WhatsApp group has been established for communication.
