Film and TV star Patrick Duffy was given a warm and delighted welcome as he visited a local community centre as part of a documentary on his Irish heritage.
Mr Duffy, who played Bobby Ewing in the iconic TV programme ‘Dallas’, visited Kilmovee Community Centre last week.
“We were thrilled to welcome the legendary Patrick Duffy and his lovely girlfriend Linda Purl yesterday as Patrick filmed footage for an upcoming documentary exploring his Irish roots,” the centre said.
“It was amazing to be part of Patrick's journey connecting with his heritage right here in our community. Both Patrick and Linda were absolutely wonderful - so warm, friendly, and generous with their time. They took photos with our entire team and made everyone feel special.” The centre said it could not wait “to see how our little corner of Ireland features in the documentary”.
“Thank you Patrick and Linda for choosing Kilmovee as part of your story.”
