According to the latest figures released by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage the adults accessed the accommodation between June 22nd and 28th.
This compares to 192 in Mayo; 24 in Leitrim, 22 in Longford and 60 in Westmeath.
Overall the Western region, comprising of Roscommon, Mayo and Galway city and county councils, had 437 adults seeking emergency accommodation which accounts for 3.7% of the national total of 11,862. Of this 246 were males and 191 were females.
Seventy-nine were aged 18-24, 222 were aged 25-44, 113 were in the 45-64 age bracket while 23 were over 65 years of age.
One hundred and ten were families of which 56 were single parent families, with 197 adults and 193 children under 18 seeking emergency accommodation.
