Boyle Film Club begins its new Spring Season this evening, Friday, January 16th, at 7.30pm, with a free screening in the Family Resource Centre on the Military Road in Boyle.

The society meet throughout winter and spring showcasing the best in local and world cinema.

Tonight’s screening is of a modern Irish classic, the 2022 Irish film, An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl). 

The film has won considerable critical acclaim capturing the hearts of cinemagoers.

Membership is now being taken for the new season. A season ticket, covering nine movies is €50; €30 for three movies, €20 for two movie screenings and €10 for individual screenings.

New members are warmly invited to join the club which features a wide range of film genres, both modern and classic.

The Film Club meet every second Friday with a full programme of screenings up to May.
