Frenchpark man found safe and well

Neilson Martin (44) from Frenchpark, who had been reported missing from his home for almost a week, has been found safe and well, according to his family.

A family member confirmed the good news on social media: “Neilson has now been located and is safe. This has been a hard few days as we were very worried for his safety. I cannot express the gratitude we have for all the help we received from you all. Thank you each and everyone of you who shared and cared for Neilson.

“Thank you to the two young girls who saw him yesterday evening in Dublin and alerted the Garda. Thank you very much to the Castlerea, Dublin and all the other guards who helped us find Neilson. Please god we can get him home soon and get him some help that he deserves. Anyone who knows Neilson will know he is a good person. Thank you all again for all your help and prayers,” said the family member.

Gardaí had been seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mr Martin.
