A recent fundraiser in aid of Mayo/Roscommon Hospice, in memory of Roscommon man Stephen Hession, raised €11,500.

Stephen from Ardsallagh, Roscommon Town and late of Wexford passed away in October 2023, beloved husband of Brona Cloonan Hession and brother of John, Rusty, Andy and Dermot.

“Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our wonderful community, we raised an astounding €11,500 for this vital cause.

“Your contributions will go a long way in supporting the Hospice’s essential services, providing comfort and care to those in need. Every donation, big or small, has made a significant difference.

"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us and helping to honour Stephen’s memory in such a meaningful way. We could not have achieved this without each and every one of you,” said Brona Cloonan Hession and all the Hession family.
