Funeral details announced for Athlone teen who died in swimming tragedy

The funeral details have been announced for Athlone teenager Martin Greene who died in a swimming tragedy on Lough Ree last Saturday evening.
The 15-year-old from Brawny Close died after getting into difficulty in the water near Carnakilla Point in Glasson.
Martin will be reposing at his home all day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
He will be laid to rest in Coosan Cemetery following 11 o’clock Funeral Mass on Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Coosan.
He is sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Yvonne, brothers John and Peter, sister Caroline, girlfriend Annie, grandmother Winnie, niece Savannah, nephews Thomas, Christopher and John, aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends.
Martin is predeceased by his beloved father John, his grandparents Peter, Christopher and Christina.
