Funeral details announced for Mirjana Pap whose "warmth, kindness, and love will never be forgotten"

Funeral details for Mirjana Pap, whose body was discovered in bogland in South Roscommon at the end of last month following a missing persons appeal, have been announced.
Her funeral service will take place in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan on Saturday, January 11th at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
Ms Pap, who was originally from Croatia and lived in Athlone for many years, was predeceased by her dear father, Dragan, and her beloved husband, Vlado.
The 58-year-old’s death notice said: “It is with heavy hearts that we remember Mirjana Pap who passed away unexpectedly on December 28th, 2024.
“Her memory lives on in her cherished children, Bojan and Lora, and her beloved grandson, who were the centre of her world. She will be fondly remembered by her brother, Petar, her nephew and nieces, as well as by friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
“Mirjana’s warmth, kindness, and love will never be forgotten”.
Her family extended a “heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped them over the last while as they come to terms with "the loss of their mother, grandmother, sister and friend."
A son of the deceased, Nebosa Pap (31), was charged with her murder last week.
