A covered sports facility to provide for a basketball court and soccer pitch has got the planning go-ahead in Roscommon Town.
Lisnamult Community Enterprise Ltd has been granted permission by Roscommon County Council to construct an all-weather multi-sport facility at Lisnamult.
The planning was given subject to 12 conditions. One of them stipulates that prior to the commencement of the project, the developer must submit a revised site layout plan for written agreement with the council.
This plan must indicate car parking spaces which will have functional electric vehicle charging points, and spaces designated for disabled parking.
