Revenue has seized herbal cannabis worth over €145,000 in Athlone this week.
Officers were examining parcels at a premises in Athlone when they seized over 7 kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €146,800.
The illicit drugs were discovered in parcels originating from Spain and were destined for addresses in Dublin.
Investigations into the seizure are ongoing.
