The HSE Drug Service is offering a group treatment programme for people in County Roscommon concerned about their use of cannabis.
The eight-week programme will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m at a venue in Galway City from Wednesday, February 26th 2025.
This programme is aimed at those who would like to stop, cut down or explore if they want to make a change in their use of cannabis.
It is a free and confidential service and is suitable for those aged 18 and over living in Roscommon, Mayo and Galway.
Many participants in previous programmes have reduced their use or achieved abstinence. The programme is based on treatment strategies that research has proved to be effective and is facilitated by two counsellors working in the Galway City Drug Service.
