The identity of a family-run store that sold a winning €4.7 million lotto ticket in County Leitrim has been revealed.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Wednesday, November 4th at Scollan's Gala store on Church Street in Drumshanbo.
The family-run store has been at the heart of the town for over 20 years, and the jackpot win has given the team extra reason to celebrate.
“We’re absolutely delighted! We’ve been here in the heart of Drumshanbo for over 20 years and have had some fantastic National Lottery wins along the way, but a Lotto jackpot of over €4.7 million really tops the lot!
“It’s wonderful to think that one of our customers is holding that winning ticket. There’ll be plenty to celebrate in the shop today! From our family and the whole team here, we want to wish the winner all the very best with their incredible win,” said store owner Karol Scollan.
The Leitrim player becomes the 27th National Lottery millionaire of 2026 and the 15th millionaire created across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games this year. It is also the second Lotto jackpot win since changes to the game were introduced in September.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winner has since come forward, and arrangements are now being made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prize.
