Local pub selling pints of Guinness for just 5c this weekend

A pub in Glenamaddy, County Galway, will be selling “pints of plain” for just 5c this weekend to celebrate its 80th anniversary.

Jim Pete’s Pub — described as “the home of a great pint, a roaring open fire and good company” — has a weekend of celebrations planned where customers will be charged only 5c for Guinness and Guinness 00 on Saturday, February 15th, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Sunday, February 16th, between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m..
