Major development planned for well known pub

Planning permission is being sought for major development works for well known Carrick-on-Shannon pub, Dunne's bar on Main Street.

LMMO2 Limited has applied for planning permission from Leitrim County Council to extend and carry out site development works to Dunne's Bar  which involves extending the existing bar area with a new bar on the lower ground level to the rear with the provision of a retractable roof and internal alterations to the layout of the existing bar and circulation areas. 

The plans also involve carrying out site development works, forming a new street access to the rear and alterations to the existing external steps. The application seeks to form a new service yard and associated works; change of use of existing residential dwelling to games room and ancillary office space and the construction of an extension to proposed games room with alterations to elevations and improved external access.

A decision is expected to be made by early March.
