A major leak in the roof of a County Roscommon secondary school has forced the closure of the school for two days.
As Storm Bert continues to make its way across the country leaving a trail of flooding and power cuts, Abbey College in Boyle has discovered a major leak in the roof of the school building.
This morning, Sunday, the school advised staff, pupils and parents that due to the leak the school would remain closed for Monday and Tuesday while work to repair the leak is carried out.
