Man hospitalised with serious injuries after Sligo road crash
The male driver of the motorcycle (aged in his 20s) was conveyed to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on the N15 near Cashelgarran, Grange, Co Sligo on Sunday, April 19th.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car which occurred shortly after 8 p.m..
The male driver of the motorcycle (aged in his 20s) was conveyed to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A female passenger in the car (aged in her 60s) was conveyed to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The road is currently closed. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on the N15 near Cashelgarran, Grange, Co. Sligo on Sunday 19th April between 7.40 p.m. and 8.10 p.m. are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
