Miss Ireland finalist climbs for Roscommon Women's Network
Latisha McCrudden (22), who is a Miss Ireland finalist, has chosen Roscommon Women's Network as her nominated charity.
A young Roscommon woman, who is a finalist in this year's Miss Ireland competition, is taking on a major fundraising challenge in support of a charity that has played an important role in her own life.
Latisha McCrudden (22) from Lisacul has chosen Roscommon Women's Network as her nominated charity and is undertaking a series of physical challenges to raise awareness and support for its work.
Throughout October, Latisha is climbing Croagh Patrick three times and completing 150 kilometres as part of her fundraising efforts.
The cause is particularly close to her heart. She said Roscommon Women's Network has supported her through difficult periods in her personal life and continues to be a source of encouragement and empowerment.
The organisation is also one of her sponsors as she competes in the Miss Ireland finals.
"Roscommon Women's Network supports women through some of life's most difficult moments, providing a safe space, practical support, counselling, education, training, connection and opportunities to rebuild confidence and move forward," Latisha explained.
You can donate by going to her gofundme page, ‘Miss Ireland Finalist- Roscommon Women’s Network’.
Latisha will compete at the Miss Ireland 2026 Grand Final on Saturday, November 2nd at The Fairways Hotel in Dundalk.
