Naughton family looking for famed actor to send message to George
George and Isaac Naughton.
The family of George Naughton is appealing to actor Tom Hardy to send a message to their son and brother.
George Naughton, who suffers from the catastrophic muscle wasting disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, is presently in hospital but his family are hoping he will be well enough to return home for Christmas.
Writing on their social media platform the family stated "We are hoping for a Christmas miracle… for George to be discharged home.
"Last night George was watching Mad Max: Fury Road, and he spoke of how much he LOVED @tomhardy. It made me think of how wonderful it would be if we could get Mr Hardy to send a message to our George. It would really lift his spirits and help him in his recovery in this very difficult time. #LetsGetGeorgeHomeForChristmas. Thanks to all the amazing hospital staff in Ballinasloe & Crumlin, George is making great progress.
