New €0.5m fire engine arrives at local station

Ballaghaderreen Fire Brigade took delivery of its new 241 Scania Fire Engine from Sidheanteo yesterday, Tuesday.
The investment in the Class B Fire Appliance amounts to almost €500,000.
The new fire engine replaces one that is 18 years old.
A new Class B Fire Appliance will also be delivered to Elphin in 2025. Its station was recently refurbished following a €400,000 capital investment.
