A range of new age-friendly and accessible facilities, including wheelchair-accessible viewing and sanitary facilities, were officially opened in King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday last.

Cian Higgins (St. Brigid’s), Adam Reddington (St. Ciaran’s/Fuerty) and Edward Leonard (St. Brigid’s) were guests of honour at the official opening before the county senior football final between St. Brigid’s and Pádraig Pearses.

Roscommon GAA said that the opening of the facilities were “another important step towards making The Hyde welcoming and inclusive for all.”

Appreciation was expressed to all those who helped bring these important improvements to fruition, particularly the Roscommon GAA Infrastructure Committee, for their dedication and hard work in making them a reality.
