Orange wind warning extended to County Roscommon
Orange wind warning extended.
The county’s weather alert has been increased to an orange wind warning by Met Éireann.
Just after 9pm tonight, the forecaster extended the orange warning to Counties Roscommon, Westmeath, Longford, and Offaly and others.
“Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with severe gusts,” Met Éireann said.
It is warning of flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide, difficult travel conditions, debris, loose objects displaced, and power outages.
The warning for County Roscommon will come in effect tomorrow at 10 am and end at 9pm.
