Planning approval for new daycare centre in County Roscommon

Planning permission has been granted to the West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation for a new daycare centre in Roscommon Town. 

Planning permission has been granted to the West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation for a new daycare centre in Roscommon Town. 

The grant of planning permission by Roscommon County Council is subject to 19 conditions and was made on June 26th.

On October 25th last year the council received a planning application from the West of Ireland Alzheimer Foundation for the centre at Ardsallagh More, Roscommon Town. The council also requested further information about the development, which was subsequently received.

The development will see the construction of a new daycare centre, including activities and day room, kitchen facilities, administration office, medical examination room, sanitary facilities, storage and all ancillary spaces.

The development will also see upgrade works to the existing access road off the roundabout, an extension to the existing spur road into the site, a drop-off zone, car parking, new external landscaping, a bin store, new boundary fencing, new signage, lighting, and connection to existing services.
