The Roscommon Ploughing Association has been forced to postpone this year’s ploughing championships due to recent bad weather.

The Associaition said it was with deep regret that it had to announce the postponement of the event scheduled for this Sunday, May 5th due to adverse weather conditions.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We will keep you updated over the coming days,” said the Association.

This year’s 30th county ploughing championships will take place on a site kindly provided by Paddy Beirne and family in Farragher, Ballinaheglish.
