Popular Roscommon business to reopen

One of the county’s best known restaurants and bars is to reopen its doors in the coming days.

Ballaghaderreen’s Durkin's Bar, Restaurant & Guesthouse announced on social media this afternoon that it was reopening on August 1st 

“We’re Back,” the post said. “We’re absolutely delighted to share the exciting news.” 

The popular business is to officially reopen under new management this August Bank Holiday weekend.

“We can't wait to open our doors again and welcome back our loyal customers, familiar faces, and new friends alike,” the post said.

The news has been widely welcomed and bookings are now open on 094-9860305.

Last month, it was announced by the previous leaseholder, who had managed the business for the last five years, that Durkin's would close on July 18th.
