Roscommon Gardai seize vehicle following Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology alert
Using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology Gardaí on patrol in Roscommon stopped and seized a vehicle being driven without valid insurance.
Using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology Gardaí on patrol in Roscommon stopped a vehicle being driven without valid insurance earlier today, Sunday.
Gardaí say the car was stopped and also found not to have tax or NCT. There was also an unfastened two-year old passenger in the vehicle.
The car was seized and the driver will face court proceedings, according to Gardai.
