Paddy Neilan will take charge of next Sunday's Connacht SFC Final between Mayo and Galway.
A County Roscommon referee has been appointed to take charge of the Connacht football final on Sunday next.
The GAA has confirmed that Paddy Neilan from St. Faithleach’s GAA Club will take charge of Sunday’s Connacht SFC Final between Mayo and Galway, at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park at 4pm, which will be televised on RTÉ.
Neilan is no stranger to big games, having refereed the AIB All-Ireland club senior football final between Cuala and Errigal Ciaran, while also having been linesman for last year’s All-Ireland senior football final between Armagh and Galway.
He was also stand-by referee for the 2022 decider between Kerry and Galway.
He also refereed last year’s All-Ireland U-20 football final between Tyrone and Kerry.
