Roscommon store sells €1m winning lotto ticket

There is huge excitement and intrigue building in South Roscommon following the announcement that a local store has sold a €1m winning lotto ticket.

The National Lottery’s latest millionaire purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at Supervalu in Monksland for last Monday's Daily Million draw.

SuperValu Store Manager, Tim Dolan, was delighted to receive the phone call to confirm that his store sold the winning Daily Million ticket. 

“There’s a great sense of pride knowing this incredible prize was won right here in our store. We’ve been proudly serving the community here in Monksland for 19 years, supporting locals across Roscommon and Westmeath, and we’re hopeful this marks the beginning of many more big wins to come. Our staff and customers are absolutely thrilled, and we wish the winner every happiness as they enjoy their windfall!” 

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared the following advice: “We’re still waiting to hear from our latest Daily Million winner who bought their ticket in SuperValu Monksland on Monday, 30th March. We’re urging all our players to check their tickets very carefully, and if you’re holding that winning ticket, sign the back of it, keep it safe, and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. We look forward to welcoming the winner to Lottery HQ to collect their prize.” 

This latest win comes hot on the heels of last Wednesday’s (March 25th) Lotto Plus 1 top prize of €1 million, scooped by a player who purchased their winning ticket at Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road in Athlone.

The Daily Million winning numbers for Monday’s draw were: 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 31 and the Bonus was 18.
