TY students from Roscommon Community College are celebrating today after winning six awards at the All-Ireland Drama Finals in Macroom last night (Monday).

The school took home the awards for First Place; Best Directors; Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Set and Best Stage Crew.

The students performed an emotional, powerful and truly captivating adaptation of 'Eclipsed', a powerful play set in 1960s Ireland that explores the experiences of women living in a Magdalene laundry, which left audiences and adjudicators in awe at the Briery Gap Theatre.
