Roscommon TDs not among new junior ministers

Local TD Dr Martin Daly was not named as one of the new ministers of state announced after a Cabinet meeting this afternoon.
Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan, who has previously served as a junior minister, was also not among the new appointments.
There was speculation about whether the first time Fianna Fáil TD might be in line for a role in the coalition, with the presence of the Taoiseach in the county yesterday increasing talk.
The Ballygar man had indicated that he would be interested in a role if the opportunity arose.
