Gardai have confirmed the discovery of a body of a male.
The search for a missing Mayo man has been stood down following the discovery of a body.
Gardai have confirmed that following the discovery of a body of a male, the missing person appeal in respect of Martin Gibbons (46) who was reported missing from Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo since Saturday 9th May, has been stood down.
Gardaí would like to thank the public for their assistance.
