The tragic death of a young father, who was killed in a machinery accident while working at a house in Boyle, has shocked the local community.
It’s understood that the fatal accident occurred at a house in the Assylinn area of the town yesterday evening.
It’s thought that the man was a native of Dublin and aged in his late forties.
He had been renovating a house when the tragic accident occurred.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is investigating the fatal incident and gardaí and emergency services attended the scene earlier today.
