Watch: Rail services disrupted in the county following fire on train
Passengers are expected to be brought by bus to Roscommon Town shortly.
Train services in the county have been disrupted this afternoon.
Irish Rail said that Westport train services are suspended until further notice due to a technical issue onboard the 12:45 Heuston to Westport train at the Glanduff level crossing in South Roscommon.

It is understood that a fire broke out on one of the train's carriages, which was put out by members of staff. Emergency services are at the scene and no one is understood to be injured.
According to witnesses, passengers have now been detrained and will be brought by bus to Roscommon Town shortly.
Irish Rail and the gardaí have been contacted.
