Trolley dash winner bags festive goodies at Roscommon supermarket

Shoppers across County Roscommon raised more than €4,200 for Lidl Ireland’s charity partner Family Carers Ireland, contributing to an overall total of more than €270,000 in funds raised from ticket sales of the retailer’s popular festive fundraiser - trolley dash.
One winner in every one of Lidl’s 190 stores nationwide – including three winners across County Roscommon- completed a two-minute supermarket sweep-style dash to bag their festive feast for free this Christmas.
At the Lidl Roscommon store Kevin Quinn from Ballygar took home over €330 worth of Lidl’s Deluxe festive food and treats to enjoy over the Christmas season.
The much-loved fundraising initiative received widespread support from Lidl shoppers across Ireland, with 100% of the proceeds raised supporting family carers and young carers across the country.

The Lidl trolley dash is a much-loved festive tradition, and to see a total of €272,060 raised is simply incredible. 100% of these crucial funds will directly support the vital work of Family Carers Ireland, making a tangible difference to carers and their families right across the country.
