Two injured in multi-vehicle crash

The accident involved a number of vehicles.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision near Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim yesterday evening, Tuesday 13th January.

The collision involving two cars, a van and a number of parked vehicles occurred on the R299 at Foxborough at approximately 6:10 p.m..

Two of the drivers, both males in their 50s, were brought to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Garda investigations are ongoing.
