Woman put off the road for no insurance

A 48-year-old woman has been put off the road for driving without insurance.
Manilla Pamela John Omora, 63 Corran Riada, Monksland, Athlone, pleaded guilty to the offence before Judge Vincent Deane. The incident happened on May 12th, 2025 on the N61 at Knockcroghery.
Her solicitor Con Harlowe said there had been a confusion about the address and that it was an “unfortunate situation”.
The judge handed down a two year road disqualification and a €100 fine.
