Red Line Comedy Club is bringing a night of comedy chaos and big laughs to Roscommon on Saturday, June 20th, with a stellar line-up of some of Ireland’s finest stand-up talent.
Leading the charge at Roscommon Arts Centre is host and Roscommon Town native Cathal Shanagher, co-founder of Red Line Comedy Club, whose love for Roscommon is matched only by his passion for puns and an ever-growing appetite for power. Known for his quick wit and crowd interaction, Cathal will guide audiences through an evening packed with laughs.
Headlining the show is award-winning comedian and actor Eric Lalor. A two-time recipient of the Irish Comedian of the Year award from Entertainment.ie, Lalor is one of the country’s most recognisable comedy performers. He is also known for his role on the long-running television series Fair City as bad boy Cathal Spillane and as co-host of the award-winning podcast You Must Be Jokin.
Joining the bill is Enda Whitney, a well-travelled Longford psychotherapist whose unique blend of life experience and comedy promises plenty of laughs - and perhaps a need for therapy afterwards. He is also currently tour support for Fred Cooke as seen on the Tommy Tiernan Show.
Also taking to the stage is Ken Lindsay, whose comedy is packed with dating disasters, family secrets and stories full of unexpected twists, turns and taboos.
Also appearing is comedian Ailish McCarthy, whose sharp observations, engaging stage presence and relatable storytelling have made her a popular act on the Irish comedy circuit. Ailish recently opened for Daniel Sloss at Vicar Street and brings a fresh perspective and plenty of laughs to an already impressive line-up. Ailish has supported Damo Clarke, Fred Cooke, Foil Arms & Hog, Jason Byrne and Deirdre O'Kane.
Completing the line-up is Seán Ryan, widely regarded as one of Limerick’s most unpredictable and energetic comedians. Audiences are guaranteed to leave either laughing or regretting every life choice that brought them there.
With a mix of seasoned performers, sharp storytelling and outrageous humour, Red Line Comedy Club promises an unforgettable night of entertainment for comedy fans across Roscommon and beyond.
The show takes place on Saturday, June 20th at 8pm. Tickets are priced at €17 and are available from Roscommon Arts Centre.
