Adult league fixtures for County Roscommon clubs confirmed

Roscommon GAA has confirmed this year’s league fixtures for adult teams around the county.
The opening rounds of the O’Rourke, O’Gara and Tansey Cups — under Gaelic football’s new rules — will get underway on the weekend after next.
St. Brigid’s will open their defence of their Division One League title with a home game against St. Dominic’s in Kiltoom on Friday, March 7th.
On the same evening, Boyle, now managed by former Sligo All-Star Eamonn O’Hara, will travel to Johnstown to face Clann na nGael, while there’s a repeat of last year’s county senior football semi-final in Woodmount when county champions, Pádraig Pearses, face St. Faithleach’s.
In the O’Gara Cup, clubs with new managers will go head to head in Cootehall when St. Michael’s, managed by James Martin, face Tulsk, now managed by former Roscommon Gaels boss Liam McNeill.
There’s a repeat of last year’s Tansey Cup final in Croghan when Shannon Gaels meet St. Dominic’s.
In the Tansey Cup, last year’s Junior A football champions, St. Barry’s, welcome St. Aidan’s to Tarmonbarry in the pick of the opening round games.
