Former Roscommon selector takes up new role

A former Roscommon senior football selector has taken up a new role with a well-known club team.
Mark McHugh, who was part of Davy Burke’s management team last season, has joined former Galway and Connacht club champions Moycullen ahead of the 2024 season.
According to the
McHugh, a former All-Ireland winner with Donegal, has attended university in Galway and travels down for work weekly.Moycullen GAA has confirmed that McHugh “will be helping us out when he can throughout the season”.
McHugh stepped away from the Roscommon set-up last November, citing travel commitments.
In another County Roscommon connection to the club, it is understood that former county player, Don Connellan, has stepped down as manager after enjoying a hugely successful stint in charge of the West Galway club.
