Former Roscommon senior football team coach to take charge of Leitrim

Leitrim GAA has announced that Down native and former Roscommon senior football team coach Stephen Poacher will be the Leitrim senior team manager for 2025, subject to ratification at the next meeting of Leitrim GAA County Committee.

Poacher, who was drafted into the Roscommon set-up back in 2021, was also previously involved at inter-county level with Carlow, in addition to coaching and managing at all underage inter-county levels with his native county. He is head of PE in St Joseph’s Newry.
