McCarthy misses out as Farrell selects team to face Rossies

Dessie Farrell has named his Dublin team for Saturday's opening game in Group 2 of the All-Ireland SFC against Roscommon at Croke Park.
James McCarthy is a notable absentee from the match-day 26, although there are still plenty of household names in the Dubs' starting 15 like Stephen Cluxton, Mick Fitzsimons, Brian Fenton, Cormac Costello, Ciarán Kilkenny, Colm Basquel, Con O'Callaghan and Paul Mannion.
Jack McCaffrey and Paddy Small are listed among the substitutes.
The game throws in at 5 p.m. and will be live on GAAGO.
