The Boyle senior ladies' footballers will have to wait another 48 hours at least to play their Connacht LGFA quarter-final against Sligo champions, Eoghan Rua.

The game had been fixed for Abbey Park, Boyle, on Saturday at 1 p.m., but Connacht LGFA has decided to postpone Saturday's fixtures due to Storm Boelo, which will see four out of the province's five counties under a Status Orange wind warning from 2 p.m..

County Roscommon will be under a Status Yellow wind warning at the same time. Heavy rain is also expected to cross the country tonight and tomorrow morning.

Connacht LGFA made a decision to postpone the games in the "interests of safety", and they have been "provisionally" refixed for Bank Holiday Monday at 1 p.m..

As it stands, the Roscommon Senior Camogie A and B finals are scheduled to take place in Lisnamult on Saturday at 3 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively, but that is subject to change.

Pádraig Pearses' provincial intermedite ladies' football semi-final against CT Gaels is expected to go ahead in Tubbercurry on Sunday.
