Some of county's greatest footballers featured in new book

A new book by local author and journalist, Dan Dooner, which features 25 of Roscommon's greatest footballers, was launched in The Railway Bar, Roscommon Town, on Friday evening.
“Roscommon Game Of My Life” is a unique publication and one of a family of books by Herobooks which are being published in every county in Ireland. It offers a magnificent oral history of over 60 years of success and failure on football fields across the country.
The Roscommon edition includes first person testimonials from some of the stars of the glorious seventies when the Rossies dominated the Connacht football landscape slongside members of the famous 1980 squad that almost brought home the Sam Maguire Cup after going toe-to-toe with Kerry.
Stars of the nineties and present day also feature, including the county's most recent All Star Enda Smith.
