Carrick golfer Patrick Martin has finished top of the pile in the U-18 Order of Merit.
The Orders of Merits recognise the top performing amateur golfers in Ireland. These standings are determined based on players' performances in designated domestic events, culminating in the awarding of the Bridgestone Order of Merit titles.
Patrick held off Killarney’s Luke McCan by just five points to finish first overall.
Carrick Golf Club have expressed their pride in Patrick’s achievements.
“Congratulations Patrick what an achievement and so well deserved. If the quality of golf you played in Carrick a few weeks back is anything to go by it’s only the start of things to come. It’s a great occasion for your parents Philip and Ann Marie and sister Kate also. Your club is delighted and so proud of you.”
