County Roscommon golfers selected to national High Performance Panels

Isaac Oliver (Glasson Golf Club) and Olivia Costello (Roscommon Golf Club) have been selected for the Golf Ireland’s Men’s and Women’s High Performance Panels respectively for 2027.

Oliver moves straight from the U-18 boys team to the Men’s HP Panel following a year where he was part of the successful Irish team to win the Fairhaven Trophy.

Another impressive season from Costello, which saw her win the Flogas Irish Girls’ Amateur Open, earned her selection to the Women’s HP panel once more.

Golf Ireland High Performance Director Neil Manchip reflected on a positive year for Irish golfers.

He highlighted the dramatic win Thomas Higgins from Roscommon Golf Club contributed to at the European Amateur Team Championship as a standout, and he looked forward to the season ahead.

“The depth of talent coming through our pathway continues to grow and we’re looking forward to working with this group as they prepare for another busy international season,” he concluded.
