Nine-hole women’s weekly club competition on Saturday, October 21st and Tuesday, October 24th, 1st, Mary O’Neill (29), 21 points; 2nd, Bríd Kenny (13), 18 points; 3rd, Margaret Byrne (7), 17 points (B3). ’97 Club on Thursday, October 26th, 1st, Kay Delaney, 26 points; 2nd, Bernie Watson, 24 points; 3rd, Carol McGetrick, 23 points.

WEEKLY UPDATE: C. Walker was the winner of the ladies’ nine-hole competition with 21 points on October 24th. The ladies’ Christmas Hamper competition, kindly sponsored by Bernard Keane Supermarkets, took place on the weekend of October 28th and 29th. The results were: 1st, Paula Quinn, 35 pts; 2nd, Joan Hannon, 35 pts. The ladies’ weekly nine-hole re-entry competitions are commencing from Tuesday, October 31st. The weekly competitions will run from the Tuesday to the following Monday of each week.
