Golf Ireland has announced the six-strong team who will represent Ireland at the Women’s Octagonal Matches next week.
Roscommon's Olivia Costello has been chosen after she helped Team Ireland to a silver medal in this competition last year.
Ireland fell to defeat against Spain after a brilliant run to the Championship match in 2024 and they will look to go one better at Costa Ballena Golf Club.
Anna Abom (Edmondstown), Costello and Kate Lanigan (Hermitage) will look to use their experience from last year’s event in Spain.
Hannah Lee McNamara (Royal Portrush), Zoe McLean Tattan (Romford) and Gemma McMeekin (Royal Portrush) have been added to the team.
Eight countries are involved with reigning champions Spain, Austria, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium also in contention.
The matches begin on Wednesday, February 12 and will be played over four days.
