Roscommon golfer selected for European Championships

A Roscommon golfer has been selected to compete in the European Senior Women’s Team Championship.
Sinead Benedetti has been chosen as part of a six strong Irish team that will travel to Spain.
Benedetti reached the final of the Irish Women's Senior Close Championships earlier this month. She enjoyed a memorable run to the final after winning her quarter final on the 20th hole.
Alison Taylor (Malahide) is also an ex-European Senior champion, and she will be part of the Irish team that will compete in Pula, Spain from September 2-6.
