Roscommon clubman honoured for outstanding contribution to ladies football
Pat Heneghan who has been named as one of nine national winners of the 2025 LGFA Volunteer of the Year awards.
Michael Glavey’s Pat Heneghan has been named as one of nine national winners of the 2025 LGFA Volunteer of the Year awards.
Vice-chairperson and provincial delegate for Roscommon LGFA, Mr Heneghan will gather with fellow recipients at Croke Park on Friday, January 23rd for a very special evening to celebrate their outstanding achievements.
He has been congratulated by his club, Michael Glavey’s, and by Roscommon LGFA, who said Pat was "a tireless volunteer whose dedication, commitment and passion for the game have made a lasting impact both within the county and beyond.
“This recognition is richly deserved and is a testament to the countless hours of work Pat gives in support of players, clubs and the continued growth of ladies football in Roscommon. Well done Pat, we are extremely proud,” said Roscommon LGFA.
