Oran proud of links to Irish women’s rugby team

One particular area of County Roscommon will have more than a passing interest in Ireland’s Women’s Rugby World Cup quarter final against France on Sunday.
The proud sporting community of Oran has two links to the team.
Eimear Corri-Fallon has been named on the bench for the Ireland team that will take on France this Sunday at Exeter’s Sandy Park.
She is married to Oran’s Eddie Fallon with the Fallon family steeped in Oran’s proud hurling tradition.
Meanwhile, the Oran connections extend to the management team.
Larissa Muldoon serves as assistant backs and attack coach under Scott Bemand. Larissa’s father Vincent Muldoon hails from Oran.
Creagh’s Aoibheann Reilly has been named to start at scrum half for Ireland's crunch showdown.
Meanwhile, Creggs’ Ivana Kiripati is part of Ireland’s 32 player squad.
Ireland will face France this Sunday at 1 p.m. in Exeter’s Sandy Park. The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ2.
