Brideswell native Darragh Murray has been called up to the Irish squad ahead of their test against Australia this weekend.
The Roscommon man has linked up with the squad after scoring a try as Ireland XV secured a facile win over Spain last Saturday evening.
Murray has joined the squad alongside fellow Connacht player Mack Hansen, who has been battling a foot complaint.
The second rower received his first international cap against Georgia in Tblisi this summer before packing down against Portugal the following week.
He was called up to the Irish squad by Andy Farrell back in March before Ireland’s Six Nations clash with France.
The Ireland team to play Australia will be named on Thursday.
The autumn test will be played on Saturday with kick off at 8.10 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2.
